An interstate in Pennsylvania will experience nightly lane restrictions for the next two months as crews work to make routine repairs.
Interstate 376, otherwise known as the Beaver Valley Expressway, between the Hopewell and Center exits will be reduced to one lane from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night as crews work on joint repair. The construction is port of a longitudinal joint rehabilitation project spanning multiple interstates by Northeast Paving.
The repairs will affect the interstate in both directions, and portions of the roadway will be reduced to one lane to help protect road crews. Additionally, drivers are advised to be aware while traveling through the area, even at night, as crews may work to repaint the roadways during daylight hours, reported The Times.
The work is expected to be completed in early October. However, officials warn that weather may affect the estimated completion date for the project.
