Several truck stop locations are closed due to evacuations or damage caused by Hurricane Ida — here’s the latest information.
On Sunday afternoon, Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana as a powerful Category 4 hurricane with wind speeds of almost 150 m.p.h. More than 1 million people in Louisiana are without electricity as of Monday morning.
By Monday, Ida weakened into a tropical storm as it heads toward southwestern Mississippi, but major storm surges and flash flooding are expected in Louisiana, Mississippi, and parts of Alabama.
Several major truck stops have shut down stores due to Ida. See the list of closures below as of 9:15 a.m. on Monday.
