Car Crushed but No Injuries Reported After Going Under Semi-Trailer on I-65 North in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY — No injuries were reported after a collision between a passenger car and a semi-truck on Interstate 65 North Saturday morning, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash around 9:37 a.m. near the 26.7-mile marker, where they found a passenger vehicle heavily damaged after striking a semi-truck. The semi sustained no damage, but officials say the car is believed to be totaled due to the severity of the impact.

According to WBKO, emergency crews cleared the scene without reporting any injuries, and traffic was able to continue flowing once debris was removed from the roadway.

Witnesses later confirmed that the car’s driver was a 21-year-old man. They said that after the truck stopped, bystanders rushed toward the vehicle — and the young driver gave a thumbs up through the window to show that he was okay. He then opened the door and exited the vehicle on his own, without assistance.

The cause of the collision has not yet been released, and the incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
