Driver and Passenger Injured After Speed Leads to Amazon Truck Crash on I-90 in Spokane
SPOKANE, WASHINGTON — Washington State Patrol said an Amazon truck crashed into a guardrail on eastbound Interstate 90 late Thursday night near Division Street and just before the Altamont area after the driver lost control while traveling too fast, injuring two people who were taken to the hospital.

According to WSP, the 41-year-old driver was traveling east on I-90 near Division Street at around 11:30 p.m. when he lost control, went off the road, and struck a guardrail. The truck came to rest partially down an embankment.

WSP said the driver and his 38-year-old passenger were injured and taken to Sacred Heart for treatment.
The freeway was partially closed for several hours following the crash and reopened around 4:00 a.m.
The investigation remains ongoing.
