Car-Carrier Tractor-Trailer Overturns Into House in Felton Borough, Dumping Vehicles Into Yard
FELTON BOROUGH, PENNSYLVANIA — A tractor-trailer hauling cars rolled over at a Felton Borough intersection Thursday morning, flipping into a home and spilling multiple vehicles off the trailer into a yard, shutting down Main Street near Beaver Street for hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage, officials said.

Emergency dispatchers said the crash was reported at approximately 10:23 a.m. at the intersection of Beaver Street and Main Street. Dispatchers reported that when the car-carrier rolled over, cars fell off the trailer, and the roadway was closed in the area while fire and police crews responded.

North Hopewell Township Police said Main Street at Beaver Street was closed to all traffic until further notice while the scene was handled. Police said the truck was hauling more than half a dozen vehicles.
Authorities said cleanup and recovery operations lasted more than four hours, and the wreckage was eventually cleared from the scene. Police said the tractor-trailer and some of the vehicles were smashed, but no injuries were reported, and it remained unclear early on whether anyone was inside the home at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
