Snow Plow Truck Goes Up in Flames on Westwood in Toledo After It Stalls and Driver Tries to Start It Again
TOLEDO, OHIO — No one was hurt after a snow plow truck caught fire Sunday afternoon in Toledo when it reportedly stalled and then burst into flames as the driver tried to restart it, according to Toledo Fire and Rescue.

The fire happened around 1:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Westwood, near the City of Toledo’s Division of Transportation, during a 13 First Alert Weather Day.
A Toledo Fire and Rescue battalion chief told crews that the plow had stalled, and when the driver attempted to restart the truck, it ignited and went up in flames. The driver was able to safely exit the vehicle and was not injured.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze, and officials said no firefighters were injured during the response. The plow truck was taken out of service.
