Semi Overturns After Tire Blowout, Spilling Hundreds of Beers and Dozens of Kegs in Wheat Ridge
WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO — A semi-truck tipped over late Wednesday night after blowing a tire on the Highway 58 flyover to eastbound I-70, spilling hundreds of beers and dozens of kegs across Youngfield Street, according to the Wheat Ridge Police Department.

Police said the crash happened around 11 p.m. when the truck suffered a tire blowout and overturned on the ramp. The driver was transported to the hospital, though officials did not release an update on the driver’s condition as of Thursday morning.

Cleanup crews worked for hours to remove the spilled alcohol and clear the roadway. Authorities said the area reopened after roughly five hours of cleanup.
