COOPER COUNTY, Missouri — Sunday morning traffic on eastbound Interstate 70 was disrupted after a truck crash near mile marker 100 partially shut down the roadway in Cooper County.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F, the crash was reported around 8:49 a.m. near Exit 98 (Missouri Route 41/135) by Arrow Rock and Pilot Grove.

Troop F later confirmed the crash involved a truck hauling a load of apples and no injuries were reported.

During cleanup, eastbound I-70 was initially closed. By 10:40 a.m., the eastbound passing lane reopened, while the driving lane remained closed as crews continued working the scene. Drivers were urged to use alternate routes while the cleanup continued.

By 2:18 p.m., Troop F reported both eastbound lanes were reopened.
