A truck driver is expected to be okay after falling asleep at the wheel in Texas on Friday morning.

The accident happened on January 21st at around 4:40 a.m. in Castle Hills, Texas.

According to KSAT News, the driver of a USPS truck was on the access road of Loop 410 just before Blanco Road when they fell asleep and crashed into a vascular clinic at the Blanco Junction Shopping Center.

The force of the impact sent the rig through the wall of the building, but the driver was conscious and alert when help arrived. First responders say that the driver was even able to help firefighters get him out of the wrecked rig. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to recover.

The San Antonio Fire Department is now looking into the extent of the damage done to the building.
