CHP - Chowchilla River Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility:
While completing a North American Standard Level I Inspection, one of our senior inspectors noticed the rear of the trailer was leaning towards the left-side (driver side). After concluding the underneath inspection, he observed a crack in the right-side frame siderail web around the radius and into the bottom flange behind the center equalizer placing the vehicle out of service due to the collapsing frame.
