The eastbound lanes of I-40 in Knoxville, Tennessee have been shut down due to a “crash involving multiple tractor trailers,” the Knoxville Police Department Tweeted.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:16 am on Monday morning in the eastbound lanes of I-40 at the I-640 split, MM 393.
One lane of westbound I-40 is also blocked by emergency vehicles. Traffic is being detoured...
