California transportation officials have closed a busy interstate in Castaic for a multi-vehicle crash.
The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. on December 21 on southbound I-5 just south of Templin Highway in Castaic, California.
In images shared this morning by Caltrans, you can see two passenger vehicles partially wedged inside a truck’s trailer.
Caltrans says that the truck was hauling a load of lettuce.
It isn’t clear at this time why the truck overturned or whether anyone was hurt.
Crews are working on removing the wrecked vehicles from the active lanes of traffic.
Caltras says that southbound I-5 traffic is being detoured eastbound SR-138.
