Trucks being turned around on I-80 after 1ft+ of snow

                    More than one foot of snow fell in the Sierras on Wednesday evening, prompting chain controls on Sierra mountain passes.
As of 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 21st, chain controls are in place on Interstate 80 in both directions over Donner Summit from Drum Forebay to the Nevada state line. All commercial trucks are being turned around in both directions on I-80, reported Fox 11 Reno.
As much as one more foot of snow is expected to fall in the area between Thursday and Friday morning.
