Semi truck plunges off bridge into Georgia river

Georgia authorities are investigating after a semi truck plunged off a bridge and into the river below on Wednesday.
Shortly before noon on May 11, a semi truck was westbound on a bridge over the Flint River in Bainbridge, Georgia, when the driver lost control.

The truck crashed through a guardrail and into the Flint River below.
The Decatur County Fire and Rescue deployed a Rescue boat and dive team to assist in the response.

The truck driver was pulled from the partially submerged vehicle and was transported to Tallahassee Memorial for treatment.
