Each year, a convoy of Trans Ams and other vehicles travel from Texarkana to Atlanta, Georgia to reenact the famous beer-run journey portrayed in 1977’s “Smokey and the Bandit.”
This year’s Bandit Run events kicked off on May 21 and will run through May 28.
This year marks the 45th anniversary of the release of “Smokey and the Bandit.”
