An apparently abandoned pickup made for a bad day of trucking in this traffic camera clip.
In the video, a red pickup can be seen sitting in the center lane of Interstate 35 near Forest Lake, Minnesota with its flashers on. Then, an oncoming truck that appears to be a heavy duty wrecker apparently does not realize that the pickup is not moving and promptly crashes straight into the pickup.
The pickup then goes spinning across the freeway in front of another oncoming truck before striking the guardrail and bursting into flames, causing traffic to come to a stop.
What do you think? Was the situation unclear, or was the driver not paying attention? Regardless, that’s a pretty bad spot to leave your broken pickup.
