A truck driver was arrested in Michigan this week for carrying a concealed weapon.

The incident was announced on Friday, June 24th.

According to WILX 10 News, “further investigation after a traffic stop on I-96 in Eaton County for semi-truck speeding resulted in a gun seized,” the Michigan State Police wrote.

The truck driver is a 27-year-old man from Missouri and was arrested when the firearm was discovered. No further information has been released.

Anyone 19 years or older can legally open carry and concealed carry without a permit in the state of Missouri. Michigan law requires that a person may not conceal a firearm without a license from their state of residency.
