A trucker from Texas was arrested on Tuesday after breaking into a house, a horse barn, and then fighting the troopers who responded to the scene.

The incident occurred on July 12th in Smithton, Pennsylvania.

According to CBS Pittsburgh, truck driver Simran Virk was parked at a truck stop along Interstate 70 when he wandered out of the parking lot, leaving his truck door open and engine still running, and onto a property on Fitz Henry Road. Virk then broke into the garage of a home, and was confronted by one of the owner’s relatives, Bill Flower.

“I asked him, ‘What are you doing here?’ He said, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing here,'” Flower said. “He started looking up at the air like he was swatting bugs, like he was seeing things.”

Virk then reportedly walked across the street to a horse barn owned by the same people and began petting the horses – and that’s when police arrived. When troopers confronted Virk,  he began fighting them, forcing officers to tase him at least twice before they were able to get him into custody.

Police say that Virk later told officers that the horses told him to fight them. Troopers say that the driver was high on PCP and synthetic merijuana at the time of the incident.

Virk has since been taken to the Westmoreland County Jail where he is being held without bond. He is facing numerous charges, including burglary and resisting arrest.
