Semi truck stopped on muddy shoulder crushes driver during repair

A trucker was accidentally crushed to death by his own rig in Texas on Friday morning.
The accident happened in Lamb County, Texas just after 6 a.m. on September 2nd.
According to Everything Lubbock News, 28-year-old driver Peter Jacob Adameit pulled over onto the shoulder of FM 1055 for a mechanical issue. As he was outside of the truck attempting to fix the issue, the truck began tipping over into a ditch and got stuck in the mud.
As the truck tipped, Adameit was struck by one of the vehicle’s left-side tires. Adameit died as a result of his injuries. No further information has been released.
