A semi truck was left balancing precariously between both sides of Interstate 5 in Washington early on Thursday morning.

The accident happened on the early morning of April 15th in Seattle. According to the Washington State Patrol, the semi truck became wedged between the southbound and northbound sides of the interstate, leaving the cab hanging off the road while the trailer rested on the barrier walls. The tractor trailer was the only vehicle involved in the wreck, and the driver was able to escape the rig on his own. The reason for the crash has not been released.

The driver suffered only minor injuries in the incident.

Cleanup of the wreck took several hours, but the highway was completely reopened just after 5 a.m.
