Tractor-Trailer Overturns on Route 17 in Tuxedo, Spills Trash, and Leaves at Least One Injured
TUXEDO, NEW YORK — A tractor-trailer overturned Tuesday morning on Route 17 in Tuxedo, spilling trash across the roadway and causing traffic disruptions in Orange County, according to Tuxedo police.

Police said the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. near Warwick Brook Road. A red minivan also appeared to be involved, officials said.

Authorities reported at least one person was injured. No additional information on the victim’s condition was immediately available.

Route 17 was impacted as crews worked the scene, and drivers were seen using the shoulder to get around the crash while traffic was detoured to Long Meadow Road, officials said. Police later confirmed the roadway had reopened.
