A truck driver helped two inmates in the smuggling of meth into jail, leading to the arrest of four men, police say.

The meth was found inside of a cell at Gwinnett County Jail near Lawrenceville, Georgia on January 17th, which launched an investigation into the incident.

According to WSBTV 2, inmates David Isaias Wilson, and Salathiel McKinney arranged the delivery of the meth with the help of outside sources, including truck driver Willis McFadden and a man named Dante Thompson. McFadden allegedly handed meth directly to an inmate, and Thompson allegedly helped in the delivery.

A total of six prepackaged grams of meth were seized by police.

McFadden was arrested and charged with four felony warrants. Thompson was charged with two felony warrants, and Wilson and McKinney were charged with five felony warrants combined. No further information has been released.

“We commend all personnel for their diligence in conducting a thorough investigation to safeguard our staff members and all inmates incarcerated at the Gwinnett County Jail,” the sheriff’s office said.
