A truck driver was shot while driving in Memphis, Tennessee, on Thursday morning.
The shooting occurred around 5 a.m. on April 4 at Lamar Avenue and American Way.
According to ABC24, a semi truck driver was hauling a load of Google products south on Lamar Avenue when she heard what she believed to be a gunshot.
The driver heard another gunshot and realized she had been shot in the leg. She was able to pull off the road safely.
The truck driver was hospitalized for a non life-threatening injury.
The truck driver told Memphis police that she believed that the shooter was in a black Toyota Camry with tinted windows that may have been following her truck.
The shooting is under investigation.
