Tractor-Trailer Catches Fire on Route 283 Ramp in Lancaster County

A tractor-trailer caught fire Friday morning along a Route 283 exit ramp in Rapho Township, Lancaster County, according to the Fire Department Mount Joy.
The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. on the westbound exit ramp to Route 230/Mount Joy. Fire crews arrived quickly and extinguished the flames. No injuries were reported.
Photos from the scene show firefighters hosing down the truck to put out the fire. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, according to the department.
