Tractor-Trailer Crash Closes I-20 Lane for Hours in Aiken County

AIKEN COUNTY, Ga. — A tractor-trailer crash shut down a lane on Interstate 20 Westbound for several hours Wednesday evening, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened near mile marker 8 and involved at least one other car, South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
The left lane was closed for about six hours while crews worked to clear the scene, but both lanes have since reopened.
According to WRDW/WAGT, troopers are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
