Unattended semi rolls into retention pond at Love’s Travel Stop in Michigan

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Michigan — A semi-truck rolled into a retention pond Tuesday morning at a Love’s Travel Stop near Interstate 94 and Wadhams Road, prompting a response from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and local fire department.
Officials believe the driver had exited the truck without setting the brakes, causing the vehicle to roll through a fence and into the water.
According to WXYZ, no one was injured and no one was trapped inside the truck.
Crews remained on scene to assist with recovery operations and ensure no environmental hazards resulted from the incident.
