THOMASVILLE, Ala. — A fourth lawsuit has been filed against a Ukrainian truck driver accused of causing a deadly crash in Thomasville earlier this year.

The complaint was filed Tuesday by Horace Bradford Larrimore, who says he was hit from behind by the truck and flipped upside down during the May crash on Highway 43. Larrimore suffered injuries and continues to experience hip pain, according to FOX10 News.

Police said Andrii Dmyterko, who was in the U.S. on a work visa, was answering a phone call from his wife when his semi-truck plowed into several cars stopped at a red light, killing Ashley McDonald and Woodie Beck. Larrimore’s lawsuit joins three others filed by victims’ families, all accusing Dmyterko of distracted driving.

Dmyterko remains in the Clarke County Jail, awaiting possible indictment on vehicular homicide charges. The case was delayed due to issues finding a Ukrainian translator, though a court-approved interpreter has now been located.
