The crash happened around 8:24 p.m. on southbound I-295 near the I-64 eastbound Exit 28A, according to WRIC. Investigators say the tractor-trailer failed to move into the left lane while approaching the work zone and struck two truck-mounted attenuator (TMA) vehicles and two pickup trucks — one driven by a civilian and the others belonging to the road maintenance crew.
