Police said the female driver of the sedan was pulled out of the vehicle and rushed to the hospital to be treated for a head injury. No other injuries were immediately reported.
Officials said two lanes were briefly closed during the investigation and response, contributing to heavy backups through the area. All lanes reopened around noon, according to police. The cause of the crash has not yet been released.
