A photo from the scene showed a tractor-trailer caught up in downed wires. Officials said Baltimore Street was closed in both directions from the Business Route 15 split — just south of Locust Avenue — to Breckenridge Street.

An estimated reopening time was not immediately available. Dispatchers said the road could remain closed for a couple of hours, and the incident is being handled by the Gettysburg Police Department.
