CORMAN PARK, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA — A semi-truck was placed out of service and towed from Highway 11 in the Rural Municipality of Corman Park after an officer found the truck in an extreme state of disrepair — including smashed side windows covered with duct tape, a severely damaged windshield that obstructed the driver’s view, and a driver-side mirror held together with duct tape.

Police say the incident happened February 1, 2026, when a Corman Park officer became aware of a semi that was unfit for travel on Highway 11. After locating the vehicle and conducting a stop, the officer determined the unit was unfit for service and had it immediately removed from the road.

The semi-truck was towed pending a Periodic Motor Vehicle Inspection (PMVI). The driver was issued multiple citations, and police said the carrier will be notified about the serious safety concerns tied to the truck.
