STOREY COUNTY, NEVADA — Three people were arrested after investigators recovered two stolen semi-truck trailers loaded with more than $500,000 in product that were taken from the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, according to the Storey County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s office detectives said they were notified of the trailer thefts on January 29, 2026, and launched an investigation while coordinating with the trailers’ owner. With help from the Sparks Police Department, the trailers were located the same week in an industrial area in Sparks, Nevada, where detectives began surveillance with assistance from Sparks police and the Regional Crime Suppression Unit, officials said.

On January 30, 2026, a detective watching the area reportedly saw a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle approach one of the stolen trailers, connect to it, and drive away. Sparks Police patrol officers then conducted a traffic stop on both vehicles.

Following the stop, Sparks Police arrested three suspects, who were transported to the Washoe County Detention Facility, where they were booked on felony charges, according to the sheriff’s office:

    • Possess stolen property, value $100,000 or more (felony)

    • Attempt to possess stolen property, value $100,000 or more (felony)

  • Deepindeer Singh, 26, of Manteca, California
