INDIANA — Federal officials have placed four additional motor carriers out of service as part of an expanding investigation into a February crash in Jay County, Indiana, in which an allegedly illegal alien truck driver plowed into a van carrying six people, killing four Amish men. U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned that more action is coming, calling the network behind the crash a coordinated "chameleon carrier" operation.

On March 12, 2026, Duffy announced that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration had taken the following four carriers out of service in connection with the crash: KG Line Group Inc., Tutash Express 1 LLC, RPM Hauling, and Valcins Trucking LLC.

"A coordinated CHAMELEON CARRIER network — where operators change their names and DOT numbers to HIDE from law enforcement — is responsible for this horrific crash! The U.S. Department of Transportation will leave NO STONE UNTURNED until every bad actor is held RESPONSIBLE," Duffy said.

The crash occurred on February 3, 2026, on S.R. 67 in Jay County, when Bekzhan Beishekeev, 30, was driving a semi truck eastbound and allegedly failed to slow for traffic before swerving into the westbound lane, striking a van carrying six people. Four of the van's occupants were killed. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement later identified Beishekeev as a "criminal illegal alien" who had been improperly issued a commercial driver's license by the state of Pennsylvania.

On February 13, the USDOT had already announced the out-of-service order for Beishekeev's employer, AJ Partners, along with two other carriers connected to AJ Partners — Tutash Express and Sam Express. Officials also revoked certification from what they described as a "sham school," Aydana, which allegedly helped Beishekeev fraudulently obtain his CDL. The four carriers announced on March 12 represent a further expansion of that investigation.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
