A man has died after being struck by a semi truck while sleeping near a loading dock in North Carolina on Thursday morning.
The incident happened on May 26th at around 7:18 a.m. in Wilmington.
According to Star News, a man was lying behind a building near a loading dock covered by a blanket when he was accidentally struck by a semi truck in the 2600 block of Carolina Beach Road.
The 36-year-old man has not been publicly identified pending notification of next of kin. The truck driver is not facing any charges at this time. The Wilmington Police Department says that the investigation is ongoing.
