A truck driver ran afoul of a truck-eating bridge in Kansas City, Missouri, on Friday morning.
On Friday morning, the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) shared photos of a semi truck whose driver attempted to squeeze under the 12 foot Independence Avenue Bridge.
“The Independence Avenue Bridge loves meals on wheels,” KCPD said.

No injuries were reported.
The bridge is owned by the Kansas City Terminal Railway and was built more than 100 years ago. The company says that the bridge averages two strikes per month.
The Independence Avenue Bridge has gained so much local notoriety that it even has its own Facebook page.
