An Illinois resident is now facing multiple charges after he reportedly opened fire on a semi trailer during a road rage incident in Wisconsin.

Bradley Skoog, 56, is facing multiple charges, including two counts of endangering safety/reckless use of a firearm, two counts of first degree recklessly endangering safety, a charge for conceal carry violations, two counts of criminal damage to property using a firearm and two counts for disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon.

The charges were issued in connection with a shooting that occurred on August 14 around 11:30 p.m. in Rosendale, Wisconsin.

Police received a call from a truck driver who said that a motorist had opened fire on his vehicle while traveling west on Highway 23 towards Ripon.

No injuries were reported.

Police were able to pull over the motorist, later identified as Skoog.

“The suspect admitted to a road rage incident between him and the semi driver that resulted in the suspect discharging a pistol from his moving vehicle towards the semi trailer which was also moving,” police said.

Police were able to locate three bullet holes inside the trailer and four expired shell casings consistent with the casing located in the suspect vehicle and the same caliber as the pistol in Skoog’s vehicle.

Skoog is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on August 27.
