Pickup Crash Triggers Chain Reaction With Two Semis, Leaving Trailer Dangling From Bridge
DENISON, Texas — A multi-vehicle, non-injury traffic hazard involving a pickup truck towing a trailer and two semi-trucks shut down northbound US Highway 75 for more than eight hours overnight, forcing police to divert all northbound traffic into southbound lanes as crews worked to manage dangerous driving conditions and clear the scene. The highway reopened at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, authorities said.

A semi-truck hauling a trailer then lost control while attempting to avoid the pickup and trailer, and its trailer disconnected and tipped over onto the roadway. A second semi-truck, also hauling a trailer, went off the roadway into a ditch to avoid crashing into the other vehicles involved, according to police.
Traffic impacts spread to multiple areas
With northbound lanes blocked, police said all northbound traffic was diverted back into southbound lanes while alternate routes were treated to improve driving conditions.
