Worker Rescued From Cooler as Tractor-Trailer Fire Spreads to Multiple Semitrailers and Building in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA — Firefighters rescued an employee trapped inside a commercial cooler Friday morning after a tractor-trailer fire spread to multiple semitrailers and into a distribution building.
According to the Roseville Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 8:00 a.m. to Quality Custom Distribution at 2501 Walnut Street for reports of a tractor-trailer on fire.
When firefighters arrived, they found multiple semitrailers engulfed in flames, with the fire extending into the building. Crews were informed that an employee was trapped inside a cooler and unable to escape due to heavy smoke and poor visibility.

Crews worked for approximately two hours to extinguish hot spots. The fire was largely contained to the exterior semitrailers, with only minor damage reported to the building itself.
Multiple agencies assisted at the scene, including Roseville Police, Lake Johanna Fire, Little Canada Fire, Maplewood Fire, New Brighton Public Safety, North St. Paul Fire, St. Anthony Fire, Vadnais Heights Fire, White Bear Lake Fire and Allina EMS.
