A trucker shared white-knuckle dash cam video captured earlier this month when his brakes failed while descending a mountain.
The dash cam clip was shared on March 26 by Dash Cam Owners Australia.
The dash cammer says that he was in a “loaded semi 40ish tonne” traveling down Mt. Victoria via the Great Western Highway in New South Wales in Australia.
In the clip, the truck driver lays on the horn to try to warn traffic ahead to move aside. A driver hauling a camper trailer refuses to move over and the truck driver is forced to maneuver onto the left shoulder and finally makes his way to a runaway ramp.
